    The Brand Manager is responsible for shepherding the integrity of our brand guidelines in external and internal assets and communications as well as with our partners and vendors. Working closely with e-Commerce, Inflight, HR, Airport Services and other internal stakeholders, the Brand Manager is responsible for design of all branded assets to ensure consistency of our brand, voice and design across all Guest and Team Member touch points. The Brand Manager oversees the work of agencies, printers and other vendors in the development and delivery of branded assets. This individual is detail oriented and is able to interact with people at all levels of Spirit as well as with outside partners.


    • Grows and develops the Spirit brand by ensuring a consistent and appropriate brand image is achieved and sustained.
    • Working with multiple Spirit teams including project managers, product developers, IT, HR, marketing personnel and external creative agencies to make sure Spirit's company brand values and image are followed.
    • Ensures Spirit's brand values are aligned with our customer's expectations.
    • Develops and implement creative and cost-effective plans to help educate the public about Spirit's differentiation in the marketplace, value proposition, and business model.
    • Develops and implement programs and practices to help customers trust the Spirit brand.
    • Monitors the marketing activities of other airlines and the travel industry to recognize trends, and analyze trends to gauge their effectiveness. Diligently work to ensure Spirit is a trendsetter.
    • Creates accurate budgets and review weekly forecasts.
    • Monitors and enforce business practices that ensure compliance with regulations for sales. Work with legal and the business to adapt to new regulations as they occur.
    • Provides oversight and design input to ensure consistency of branding, voice and messaging across all Guest and Team Member touch points.
    • Communicates guidelines and ensures consistency across all Guest touch points (advertising, spirit.com, inflight, airport services, loyalty, ancillary revenue, sales, HR and internal communications).
    • Works with external partners including airports, CVBs, media to monitor brand consistency.
    • Maintain and evolve brand guidelines as required.
    • Management of branded promotional items.
    • Agency management.


    • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
    • 5+ years of communications/marketing/creative direction experience preferably within the airline industry.
    • Bilingual English/Spanish (Preferred).
    • Provide multi-channel creative insight and direction.

    • Direct accountability for strategic projects involving the Spirit Brand.

    • Work in cooperation with other Spirit teams to ensure they can deliver their products with the appropriate Spirit band values.

    • Establish global standards for advertising creative, brand voice.

    • Ensure all customer touch points are consistent with the Spirit brand.

    • Internal stakeholder for advertising, brand and email related projects with IT.

    • Possess a high degree of initiative and the ability to manage multiple tasks under dynamic deadlines.

    • Exceptional planning, written and oral communication, and reporting skills.

    • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work comfortably with other functional departments and at all levels.

    • Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

    • Ability to remain flexible to changing business needs.

    • Experience working with agencies and other partners.

    • Background in graphic design, marketing, creative.

    • Ability to drive business requirements.
