  • Overview

    The Packaging Partnerships Analyst will perform competitive analysis to identify new product opportunities for Spirit’s packaging department to increase total package volume and revenue via the implementation of new products, managing available inventory of current products, and maintaining the accuracy of packaging supplier content. In addition, in this role you will assist and implement promotional campaigns funded via cooperative marketing agreements and update supplier specials and product advisories.


    Product Implementation: 

    • Load and maintain new supplier content. 
    • Build content profiles for directly contracted suppliers. 
    • Upload pricing and inventory for newly contracted products. 
    • Assist with contract implementation via internal approval process. 

    Supplier Content: 

    • Ensure accuracy of all supplier content for packaging department. 
    • Facilitate content updates, corrections, or additions with suppliers, technology providers, and other Spirit departments. 
    • Update product advisories and policies.

    Packaging Promotions: 

    • Implement weekly promotions. 
    • Assist in implementation of larger cooperative marketing campaigns. 
    • Select and update supplier promotions to be offered via Spirit.com.

    Inventory Management: 

    • Ensure adequate inventory and manage closeout process for current product. 
    • Implement and manage automated inventory processes from third party suppliers. 
    • Identify periods of high demand and coordinate with suppliers for additional inventory.
    • May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Responsibilities and duties may change due to operational needs.


    • Bachelor's degree in a related field of study
    • Must have both a current and valid driver’s license and Passport
    • In-depth knowledge of packaging products offered and inventory management processes
    • General knowledge of marketing promotions and strategies
    • Knowledge of airline (preferred) and wholesale operations is required. 
    • Understanding of data analysis to determine product inventory needs.
    • Competitive analysis skills to determine product and content needs.
    • Strong Interpersonal skills to builds and sustain relationships with third party suppliers.
