    Spirit Airlines is seeking a Crew Payroll Specialist.  This role is responsible for processing accurate, timely and CBA  (Collective Bargaining Agreement) compliant crew payroll for pilots and/or flight attendants.  Maintains accurate PTO (Paid Time Off) balances for all flight crew.  The Crew Payroll Specialist coordinates with Crew Planning, Crew Scheduling and Crew Training (when applicable) to ensure the proper coding is on the master schedule.


    • Perform daily / near-real time audit of the current and/or previous month for crew members pay.
    • Work with scheduling, planning and training to bring resolution to crew members pay concerns.
    • Maintain accurate PTO balances, usage and accruals for all crew members, including those on leave.
    • Communicate daily with crew members regarding their pay related concerns,  uphold a high level of customer service standards at all times.
    • Consider all aspects of quality assurance checklist prior to closing one month and beginning quality assurance on the next. 
    • Complete regular payroll audit calculations adhering to the Collective Bargaining Agreement rules.
    • Use automation tools and relevant payroll data to resolve issues, patterns and variances.


    • 1 to 2 years of expereince in an office setting.
    • Payroll/Analytical experience preferred. 
    • Sabre CrewTraC Knowledge preferred.
    • Abillity to read, interpret and apply contractual language related to crew pay as necessary.
    • Should be able to work independently as well as collaboratively to meet all pay deadlines. 
    • Able to successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 
    • Be detailed-oriented and possess sound judgment. 
    • Must have a team-oriented attitude, communicate well with others, and be able to handle stressful situations. 
    • Must be self-motivated, and have an analytical mindset.
